Communiversity Youth Programs (CYP), sponsored by the Sonja Haynes Stone Center for Black Culture and History at UNC, is a program helping local elementary and middle school students expand their experiences and education outside of the classroom.
UNC Bonners have helped local youth learn valuable skills and gain new experiences through activities like culinary workshops, social justice workshops, step and dance workshops, science exploration activities, theatre and visual arts performances, and more. Additionally, Bonners help students improve their literacy skills and support them with their schoolwork.
