Sanah Ahmed

Sanah Ahmed is a junior in the Health Policy and Management department in Public Health with a minor in Business Administration. Sanah cites being a Bonner Leader as the inspiration to all of her passions at Carolina, including working in the nonprofit sector, community health, and intersectional representation in art, education, and academia. Sanah’s nonprofit experience and work with community partner Blue Ribbon Mentor-Advocate includes tutorial, grant-writing, and academic enrichment programming to ameliorate the K-12 education gap for underrepresented students. At Blue Ribbon, Sanah has helped with receiving two grants towards the Junior Youth Leadership Institute for funding summer camps for BRMA’s elementary school-aged students. In her spare time, Sanah can be found listening to many different types of music and doing high intensity interval training exercises with many water breaks in between.
